'Crazy Legs' Launches Town House Kitchen+Drinks Houseguest Series

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — You just got an invite to the Hudson Valley's biggest dinner of the season so far.

Town House Kitchen + Drinks announced the launch of its new series, Houseguest, which promises "intimate evenings that pair a thoughtfully prepared dinner with engaging dialogue featuring notable figures from the local arts scene and beyond."

"Houseguest embodies our mission to be a true neighborhood gathering spot, celebrating community, connection, and the arts," said culinary creative director Chef Renee Forsberg. "This series is designed to be a catalyst, drawing the community together to ignite meaningful dialogue and foster a deeper appreciation for the transformative power of the arts."

The inaugural Houseguest event will take place on Thursday, May 8, at 7 p.m. and will feature Bronx-born breakdancing icon Crazy Legs.

According to the restaurant, Richard "Crazy Legs" Colón "is a legendary b-boy who rose to prominence as an original member of the Rock Steady Crew. His innovative moves and appearances in early hip-hop films like Wild Style and Flashdance helped introduce breaking to a global audience. As president of the Rock Steady Crew, he organized international tours and continues to champion hip-hop culture through events like the annual Rock Steady Anniversary, solidifying his status as a pivotal figure in dance history."

Guests will be able to enjoy a 3-course meal and a conversation hosted by Tommy Goodwin, allowing guests a rare opportunity to connect with a cultural original in an intimate setting.
