WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Sure, there are other ways to get to Boston from the Hudson Valley — some of them are even more convenient, but the loss of Delta Airlines service between Westchester County and Boston Logan International Airport means local air travelers will be shut out of connecting flights at the hub.

Delta Air Lines will stop operating the flights between Boston and Westchester this fall, according to a report from Simple Flying's Luke Bodell. The carrier initiated the route just last year. The airline said it will increase service to Atlanta International Airport, which is Delta's largest hub.
