Dispute Over Parking Spot Turns Violent, Sending 2 Officers To Hospital
Two brothers and a neighbor were arrested after a heated disagreement became physical, according to the New Rochelle Police Department.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A case of parking spot rage turned neighbors against each other and left two police officers injured.
On Sunday, around midnight, New Rochelle police were called to a large dispute on Charles Street involving a parking spot that escalated into a violent altercation.
When officers arrived, the confrontation between two families residing at the address had already turned physical.

Police were told that brothers Shachari Brembridge and Shaan Morales assaulted their neighbors, a father, mother and daughter. The mother contacted her son, Thamus Frazier, who upon arriving at the scene, engaged in a physical altercation with the two brothers, police said.
During the melee, Frazier also assaulted two New Rochelle police officers and resisted arrest, according to NRPD. Frazier, Brembridge and Morales were all arrested and held pending arraignment. Orders of Protection were also issued for those involved.

Morales, 24, and Brembridge, 19, are charged with misdemeanor assault. Frazier, 28, is charged with felony assault, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration.
The two officers who were assaulted received treatment at an area hospital for minor injuries and have since been released. Both officers have returned to duty, according to the department.
"The New Rochelle Police Department is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community," NRPD said in a statement released on Monday. "We take incidents of violence seriously and will continue to investigate this matter thoroughly."
