Driver Killed In Wrong-Way Crash On Hutchinson River Parkway: Police
Three other people were injured, police said.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A driver was killed early Sunday in a wrong-way crash on the Hutchinson River Parkway in New Rochelle, according to police.
An officer traveling south around 4:15 a.m. saw two vehicles on the northbound parkway that had been in a head-on collision just south of Webster Avenue, police said.
Officers found the driver of a Toyota Prius that had been traveling in the wrong direction unresponsive behind the wheel, according to police. The driver, a man in his 30s, was taken to Westchester Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later, police said.

A driver and two passengers in the other vehicle, a Cadillac Escalade, suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene, according to police.
Investigators believe the Prius entered the parkway at Webster Avenue, but the crash remains under investigation, police said. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family, according to police.
