Fentanyl, Heroin, Stolen Gun Seized In Raid At Apartment: Police
$7,430 in cash and 124 glassine envelopes containing a mixture of heroin and fentanyl were found inside the New Rochelle home, cops said.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A search warrant served at a New Rochelle apartment building revealed a stash of drugs and a stolen weapon, according to police.
On Wednesday, New Rochelle Police Criminal Investigations Division detectives executed a search warrant at an apartment at 50 Sickles Avenue. The sting resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs, cash, and firearms, as well as the arrest of two men.
During the search, detectives found and confiscated 124 glassine envelopes containing a mixture of heroin and fentanyl, $7,430 in suspected drug proceeds and a loaded Smith & Wesson .40 caliber pistol reported stolen from Georgia, according to the NRPD. Police also found one high-capacity magazine at the home.

Two New Rochelle men, 69-year-old Ronald Ackridge and 68-year-old Rocco Forte, have been charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon, felony possession of a high capacity feeding device, felony criminal possession of a stolen firearm, felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
