Flooding Possible In Southern Westchester Tuesday
The National Weather Service issued a coastal flooding advisory

SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER, NY — Parts of southern Westchester County could experience minor flooding Tuesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for southern Westchester County which is in effect until 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Meteorologists said up to one-half foot of inundation above ground level is expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.

Minor flooding is expected in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline.
Some roads and low-lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns and homes and businesses with basement near the waterfront will experience minor flooding.

If traveling is required, allow extra time because some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
