It's A Boy! Meet The First Baby Born In Westchester In 2023

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The New Year had barely started when there was a hopeful sign that 2023 was off to a great start.
Northern Westchester Hospital welcomed the first baby to be born in Westchester in 2023.
Luciano Albanese was born at 12:41 a.m. to mother, Marilyn, 32, and father, Kristoff, 34. Luciano weighed in at 6 pounds, 4 ounces.

The newest Albanese is the couple’s first baby.

Marilyn and Kristoff both work at a cap and gown supplier in Greenwich, Connecticut, where they met 12 years ago. They got married four years later.
The couple lives in Holmes, but chose to travel from Dutchess County to Northern Westchester Hospital for their renowned labor and delivery, post-partum and pediatric care. The hospital is known for offering private rooms to all maternity patients as well as meals designed by Michelin star chef Andrew Cain. Each mom is also assigned a dedicated mother-baby navigator who helps guide moms from pregnancy to delivery, coordinating care between the hospital and their obstetrician’s office.
Northwell Health is New York’s largest health system and delivers approximately 40,000 babies a year.
