'Llama, Llama Red Pajama': Wear Your PJs To A Party At The Library
The special event to celebrate Children's Book Week will feature stories, songs, sweets and, of course, Llama Llama.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Bedtime stories are the best, even if it isn't exactly bedtime.
The New Rochelle Public Library announced that it is celebrating Children's Book Week (Nov. 6 - Nov. 12) with a pajama party this Saturday, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Festivities will include a program featuring stories and songs in English and Spanish with Canticos creator Susie Jaramillo, a meet and greet with Llama Llama (from the popular book series), and cookie decorating.

Kids (and adults) are encouraged to wear pajamas, bring a blankie and have their favorite stuffed animal tag along for a "fun-filled afternoon of bedtime bliss."
"We are always looking for fun ways to promote children's literacy," Robert Simic, Head of Children's Services at NRPL, said. "Children's Book Week is the annual celebration of books for young people and the joy of reading. We've planned a really fun afternoon of stories, songs and sweets for children of all ages. We look forward to seeing everyone, in their PJ’s, at the library on Saturday. Snuggly stuffed friends are also most welcome to join the fun."
