New Art Exhibit “Festive”
By, Wendy Guagenti
The Vanda Gallery, the latest jewel in the crown of The Queen City of New Rochelle was lit with excitement at the opening reception of its newest art exhibition entitled “Festive.” The gallery's joyous holiday theme featured 10 creative talents whose art ranged from whimsical hearts through mixed media collage and surreal, representational, and abstract expressions on canvas, including fine art jewelry.
Each artist displayed their work and style, from the psychological interpretations of consciousness by Tom Acevedo, to the mixed media and dynamic abstract collage landscapes of Allison Belolan. The thought-provoking and fanciful charm of Wendy Isaacson’s Heart Creations and Mia Brownell’s sci-fi ink and gouache still-life paintings added to the array of exceptional work.
