New Rochelle Brings The Magic With Musical Tribute To Disney

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — If you're looking for a family-friendly event that will delight kids as well as grownups, then "Be Our Guest."

The City of New Rochelle invites residents to "feel the Disney spirit" with a musical night at Ruby Dee Library Green, this Saturday.

As part of New Rochelle's Downtown Summer Sizzle Concert Series, The Little Mermen, "the ultimate Disney tribute band," will perform popular songs from The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Frozen and Encanto. The group will perform in full, vibrant costumes based on characters from the Disney movies.

From 6 p.m. - 7 p.m., VJ is scheduled. The Little Mermen will then perform from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

New Rochelle says that the "Downtown Summer Sizzle" Concert Series is part of its broader plan to enhance cultural experiences throughout the downtown area. The city partnered with PMF 97, a multimedia consultant, to organize the concert series and curate the lineup of performances.

Free concerts will continue every Saturday through September 21.

Ruby Dee Park Library Green is located at 1 Library Plaza, in New Rochelle.
