NEW ROCHELLE, NY — As of Monday, it’s that time of year in New Rochelle when you may not have to get up early and move your car, especially after you drove around for a while to find a space on the street right near your home.

The City of New Rochelle has suspended alternate side parking regulations from Jan. 1, 2023, through March 31, 2023.

The regulations apply to those streets and portions of streets subject to winter suspension as noted in the Municipal Code Article X Schedule 312-84, according to a release from City Hall.

City officials said parking regulations exist throughout New Rochelle for other reasons than just street sweeping. They ask that residents carefully review the posted parking restrictions against the list because non-street sweeping related parking regulations will be enforced.

The complete list of streets can be found on the city's website by clicking here.
