Scam Caller Impersonates New Rochelle Police Commissioner
The caller says the Department of Homeland Security is making an investigation.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The New Rochelle Police Department is alerting the public about a phone scam.
The police department said, on a Facebook post, that someone is calling people claiming to be Police Commissioner Robert Gazzola.
During the call, the caller will tell the person who answered that they are being investigated through a complaint made by the Department of Homeland Security.
