Take Up Golf This Winter: PXG Hosts 'Golf 101' Event For Beginners
PXG's "Demystifying Golf Clinic" with LPGA Professional Golfer Anya Alvarez might be the perfect way to get a head start on a new passion.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — In the Northeast, we are much more likely to be thinking about ski reports than tee times, but one of the world's most storied golf outfitters thinks the cold weather months might just be the perfect time for beginners to spark a passion for golf.
When it comes to valuable networking events, many executives and business owners miss out on important opportunities simply because they don't know how to play golf, but the folks at PXG in New Rochelle have a solution. While golf has experienced explosive growth since the pandemic, the company says it can still be intimidating for beginners, leaving them unsure of how to get started, but they are taking steps to change that by hosting a Golf 101 opportunity: "Demystifying Golf - Learn to Swing & Network” as well as a series of ongoing, free clinics over the next several weeks.
"We developed this event to help those who often feel left out of business golf outings to gain an understanding of the game as well as learn to swing a club," Brandon Violette, PXG Fitting Team Leader and PGA Professional, explained. "Participants will have a chance to learn from one of the best in an stress-free environment while they network with colleagues. We believe this will also foster opportunities for these new golfers to create foursomes for next year’s outings."
