Due to the recent snowy weather, the New York Blood Center has announced type O positive blood is needed. In the coming weeks, sites throughout the East End will be having blood drives.
The American Legion Hall in Amagansett will host a drive on Monday, Jan. 24 from 11:45 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.
will hold a blood drive on Saturday, Jan. 29 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the gym.

There will be a blood drive at the in Riverhead on Monday, Jan. 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the fourth floor lobby.
The will host a blood drive on Wednesday Feb. 2 from 2:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
