GREENPORT, NY — Mangia! A new tradition is set to unfold as the Greenport Fire Department presents its 1st Annual "Red Sauce Night."

The event will be held on Saturday, February 1 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and dinner will be served at the firehouse, located at 236 3rd Street; takeout is also available.

The menu includes spaghetti and meatballs, mozzarella sticks, a green salad, garlic bread, red and white wine, beer, soda, and tiramisu. Guests can enjoy music, and merchandise will be available for purchase.

Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door and can be purchased by clicking here.

Funds raised will be used to obtain necessary equipment for the current fireboat and for a new boat, as well, fire officials said.
