Police: Mattituck Laundry Broken Into Again, Money Stolen

The owner of reported to police on Feb. 17 that someone had smashed a window of his business and stole $300 from a cash box sometime between Feb. 16 at 10 p.m. and Feb. 17 at 3 a.m., police said. The owner was notified by his alarm company that an alarm had been activated that night, and he told police he is in the process of having security cameras installed and more alarms place on windows and doors, police said.
