PHOTO OF THE DAY: Osprey's Third Baseman Makes That Play
Darren Standish of the North Fork Ospreys baseball team is caught in action during this past Sunday's first game of the Hampton Collegiate season.

The might have lost 2 to 1 to the newly formed Shelter Island Bucks team during the Osprey's first game of the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball season on Shelter Island on Sunday.
But that doesn't mean it wasn't a good game. Jeff Standish sent us this action shot of his son, Darren, who is playing third base for the Ospreys this year. Darren play the same position last year and will be entering his junior year at Southern New Hampshire University.
Players arrived at guest homes early in June and will stay until the first week in August. They began practice this past weekend and the season is all ready to take off with games scheduled across the East End throughout the summer.
