Waiters from local restaurants helped to raise $1,500 for health and wellness programs atSunday morning, balancing a stemmed glass while walking as fast as possible around Greenport in the "Great Waiter Race."
Peconic Bay Winery’s Melissa Danchalski took first place, followed by Kerstan Pringle of and Lucy Senesac of and were among the witnesses to this unique event, which doubled as a tribute to which has been in business for 25 years on the North Fork.
