Police: Car Crash Sends Cutchogue Woman to Hospital

Jeannine McKillop, 45, of Cutchogue, was taken to Eastern Long Island Hospital on May 8 at 8:41 p.m. after she attempted to make a left-hand turn from Jockey Creek Road on to Route 25 in Southold and did not see a vehicle driven by Frank Emmett, 60, of Shelter Island, police said. McKillop struck Emmett’s vehicle and caused damage to both cars, police said. Members of the Southold Fire Department took McKillop to the hospital for evaluation.
