Police: Greenport Man Violates Order of Protection

Robert Lee Smith, 53, of Greenport, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt on March 22 at 7:39 a.m., after police located Smith at a residence he was ordered to stay away from by an order of protection, police said. Smith was arrested, processed and lodged at police headquarters in Peconic to await arraignment.
