Police: Laurel Man Charged With DWI

James Breitenbach, 23, of Laurel was charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday at 3:32 a.m., after police stopped him for having a headlight out as he drove on Route 48 in Mattituck, police said. Breitenbach failed roadside sobriety tests and was held overnight at police headquarters in Peconic.
