Police: Southold Man Hits Telephone Poles; Charged With DWI
Southold Town Police charge a Southold man with drunk driving after a Friday night car accident.

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
David Riddell, 35, of Southold, was charged with driving while intoxicated on May 18 at 10:02 p.m. after he left the roadway and struck two telephone poles, police said. After investigation, Riddell was found to be intoxicated, arrested for DWI and transported to for minor injuries sustained in the accident, police said. He was released a short time later and was transported to police headquarters in Peconic pending arraignment.
