  1. RiverheadLOCAL looks at a local controversy. Aquebogue attorney Ron Hariri posted a sign outside a building declaring “Adios, Aguiar.” The sign faces Aquebogue Elementary School, a designated polling place. (RiverheadLOCAL)
  2. Two Southold pantries have designed a grocery-style food pantry. Southold Center for Advocacy, Support and Transformation, or Southold CAST, has partnered with the North Fork United Methodist Church to offer a client choice-style pantry at the headquarters of CAST on Main Road.   3. Northforker previews an annual event. CAST, the Center for Advocacy, Support and Transformation will hold its second annual North Fork Festival of Trees at Treiber Farms the weekend of Dec. 4 in Peconic. Trees with winning designs will be auctioned off along with local art to the highest bidders to benefit CAST, and winning bidders can have a fully-decorated tree delivered to their home or office.
