  1. Southold may hire a zoning consultant to help implement a new zoning and land use plan. The aims are to protect agricultural land, reduce traffic and develop affordable housing. (Suffolk Times)

  3. Riverhead Police identified the man killed in a crash Monday morning on Sound Avenue as Salvatore Pinello. He was towing an enclosed trailer when his vehicle and trailer overturned and burst into flames. A passenger escaped. (Riverhead Local)
