Weekend Spotlight: Band Channels Spirit of The Beatles in Southold

An incredible Beatles tribute band is about to take the stage at , 51655 Route 25 in Southold, for an Auxiliary that starts at 6 p.m. Saturday night.

The Liverpool Shuffle formed in 2008 and is made up of noted New York-based musicians Mike Green on vocals and bass, Mike Ponella on vocals and guitar, Joe Refano on vocals and guitar, and Pete Bross on vocals and guitar. Band members have worked with artists such as Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone, Micky Dolenz of the , Foreigner, and Ben E. King among others over the years. They play venues and festivals all over the tri-state area and really nail all eras of Beatles tunes.

Gourmet burgers and chicken kabobs will be served along with a complimentary glass of wine or beer. Tickets are $40. Call 631-765-2206.
