Arrest Log: Sex In Alley Leads To Public Lewdness Charges

Tuesday, June 12

At 7:46 p.m., Hillary Diamond, 54, of Northport, was arrested for DWI after police say she was pulled over for failing to signal a turn and made an unsafe lane change on Locust Road.

Wednesday, June 13

At 11:43 p.m., a 25-year-old Commack man was arrested for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding on Fort Salonga Road.

Saturday, June 16

At 3:10 a.m., a 44-year-old Bay Shore man was arrested for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating an unregistered vehicle on a highway and an equipment violation on Fort Salonga Road.

Friday, June 22

At 7 p.m., a 49-year-old Northport woman was arrested for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Lewis Road.

Monday, July 2

At 10:26 p.m., an 18-year-old Nortport man was arrested for fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana after police say he was found to possess two and a half ounces of marijuana when the vehicle he was in was pulled over on Sea Cove Road. A 17-year-old man from Northport was issued a field appearance ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana and traffic citations. Another 17-year-old Northport man was issued a field appearance ticket for unlawful marijuana possession.

Friday, July 6

At 12:28 a.m., Francesca Somolinos, 30, of Northport, was arrested for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana on Beach Avenue. Police say she was seen driving into Scudder Beach without headlights on and parked on the boat ramp. She was also charged with a headlight violation, unlawfully driving across a sidewalk and a beach sticker violation.

Saturday, July 7

At 3:56 p.m., 39-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, both of Northport, were arrested for public lewdness after police say they had sex in a Main Street alley in public view.
