LI Restaurant Named Among 12 Best Italian Restaurants In Country: App

NORTHPORT, NY — Maroni Cuisine of Northport was named one of the top-rated Italian restaurants in the United States, according to the users of Beli, a restaurant-oriented app.

Maroni Cuisine, at 18 Woodbine Avenue, ranked No. 11 on a list of 12 Italian eateries. The rankings are based on more than 70 million ratings on Beli. It was the only Long Island restaurant to crack the list, and one of three in New York. Maroni has a second location at 54195 Main Road, Southold.

Maroni Cuisine offers shareable appetizers, sushi, and entrees, such as parmesan dishes, pasta, fish of the day, and duck. Cash, check and Zelle are accepted — credit cards are not. The restaurant prices reflect a hospitality-included environment, so no gratuity is necessary or expected.
