Car Crashes Into Store In East Northport

A car crashed into a store at Laurel Road and Dickinson Avenue in East Northport Sunday afternoon.

The East Northport Fire Department responded to the report of a car into the Smoke & Beer Convenient Store, officials said. There were no serious injuries.

"The driver of the auto self extricated from the vehicle prior to FD’s arrival and was evaluated at the scene by EMS crews," fire officials said."Fire crews secured the vehicle and assessed the damage to the building."

The Town of Huntington building inspector was requested to the scene, officials said.
