Fundraiser Looks To Cover Funeral Costs Of Edwin Campos

A donation page is looking to raise funds for the funeral of Edwin Campos, a man who died in a drowning accident in Fort Salonga last week.

Campos, 39, of Copiague, was found unresponsive in a backyard pool on Sunday, Aug. 5. He later died on Friday, Aug. 10.

He leaves behind two daughters, ages 3 and 13. Campos was a former Port Washington resident.

The GoFundMe page says:

I am raising money for the funeral of Edwin Campos, age 39, who died in a tragic drowinging accident. Edwin was a wonderful man who left us much too soon. He was a beloved brother and a wonderful father. We are devastated by his death. He was the father to two beautiful girls, ages 13 and 3. Everyone who knew Edwin will remember what a special man he was. Please help us to honor his memory and support his family by contributing to this campaign.
