Three John Glenn High School seniors signed National Letters of Intent to compete in soccer and cross-country at NCAA programs next year.

ELWOOD, NY — Three standout Elwood–John H. Glenn High School athletes officially committed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level, signing their National Letters of Intent during a College Signing Day celebration on Nov. 12.

Seniors Laila Daly (soccer, Marist University), Camryn Szokoli (cross-country, SUNY Geneseo) and Nora Truncale (soccer, LIU Post) were joined by family members, coaches and school administrators inside the school gymnasium as Athletic Director Dave Shanahan recognized their achievements.

“This is a great moment in your high school career,” Shanahan told the athletes. “You’ve paid your dues and worked so hard to get where you’re at. The school is proud of you, I’m proud of you and your parents are proud of you.”
