Knights Raise over $12,000 for Childhood Cancer Research
Fr. Thomas A. Judge Knights of Columbus St. Baldrick's team wins "Top Team" award for raising over $12,000 to help fight childhood cancer.
East Northport - Eleven members of the Fr. Thomas A. Judge Knights of Columbus had their heads shaved to raise funds for childhood cancer research at a recent St. Baldrick's event held at Miller's Ale House in Commack.
Together the K of C team raised over $12,000 and won the "Top Team" award for beating out four other teams participating in the St. Baldrick's event.
Bob Slingo, Team Captain said that donations continue to come in. He also said it's not too late to donate, just visit their team website at https://stbaldricks.org/teams/FrJudgeKofC2024 and click on "Donate." You may also download a donation form, complete it and mail it along with your check, made out to "St. Baldrick's Foundation" (Please note the team ID # T-136962 in the memo section of your check.). If you’d like to donate to an individual ”Shavee,” just scroll down and click on that team member's photo and click on “Donate.”
