Man Seriously Injured After Pickup Truck Slams Into Tree In Elwood: Police
Police say the driver's pickup truck veered off Austin Lane and struck a tree Friday night.
ELWOOD, NY — A man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in Elwood on Friday night, Suffolk County police said.
According to police, a man was driving a Dodge pickup truck south on Austin Lane around 9 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree in front of 7 Austin Lane.
Romero-Bulnes, 36, of Carle Place, was taken to Huntington Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.

The pickup truck was impounded for a safety check.
