Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In East Northport Motor Vehicle Collision: Police
The motorcyclist, 60, crashed into a vehicle that was making a left turn, police say.
EAST NORTHPORT, NY — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a motor vehicle in East Northport on Monday night, Suffolk police said.
A 60-year-old man was operating a 2024 Trailmaster motorcycle northbound on Larkfield Road when he crashed into the passenger side of a 2024 Cadillac SUV as it was making a left turn from the southbound lane onto Shelbourne Lane at approximately 10:35 p.m., police said.
The motorcyclist, whose name is being withheld by police pending notification of next of kin, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore in serious condition, police said. There were no other injuries.

The motorcycle and the Cadillac were impounded for safety checks.
