Northern State Parkway Crash Causes Closure; Shoulder Reopens
The crash - during rush hour - is the second crash on the Northern State Parkway in the Town of Huntington on Tuesday.
TOWN OF HUNTINGTON, NY — A crash caused the right shoulder to close on the Northern State Parkway in the Town of Huntington on Tuesday afternoon — hours after an earlier crash on the same parkway, according to 511 NY.
The crash happened eastbound on the parkway at Exit 42N - NY 231 (Huntington) at 4:15 p.m. It has been cleared as of 5 p.m.
An earlier crash on the westbound Northern State Parkway at Exit 41 - Wolf Hill Road (Huntington) also caused a right shoulder blockage around 9 a.m., which has since been cleared.
