Northport Police Want You To Have Coffee With A Cop

Northport police officers want to get a casual cup of coffee with residents to strike up a community conversation.

Plus, the coffee is free.

The event will be held at Copenhagen Bakery, located at 75 Woodbine Ave., on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 8 to 11 a.m.

“There is no agenda for this meet and greet; it’s a relaxed atmosphere for officers and the public to share thoughts,” Northport Police said.

Northport Police Chief Bill Ricca says he hopes for public support in this event, so similar events can be scheduled in the future.
