About 5,500 runners burned rubber on the streets of Northport Village in the 36th annual Great Cow Harbor 10-Kilometer Run and 2-Kilometer Fun Run/Walk.

Spectators took to the streets, cheering on the contestants as they ran un and down the hills of the course.

Fernando Cabada took the first-place title from Mo Trafeh, who won the race four years in a row and currently holds the course record. He finished in 29 minutes and 32 seconds.  Mattie Suver, a newcomer to the Cow Harbor race, took first place among the female runners, with a finishing time of 33 minutes and 31 seconds.
