Police Log: Hallucinating Man, Raccoons In Garage, House Party

Sunday, July 22

At 2:09 a.m., police received a report for a raccoon in a garage of a Locust Road Home. At 3:40 a.m., police received a report for two additional raccoons in the garage. The raccoons were removed each time using a dog bar.

At 12:07 a.m., police responded to the Northport Library on Laurel Avenue for the report of a woman bleeding. Police determined the woman was highly intoxicated. She was taken to Huntington Hospital by Northport Rescue.

At 10:39 p.m., police responded to a Nautilus Avenue home for the report of a loud party. Officers spoke to the resident, who said a large number of uninvited people showed up.

Wednesday, July 25

At 1:29 a.m., police received a report for a hit-and-run in a municipal lot on Constitution Square. The damage was minimal, police say.

At 4:18 a.m., police received a report for a man hallucinating and acting violent on Woodbine Avenue.
