More than 5,000 runners are expected to hit Northport’s streets Saturday for the biggest event of the year in the Village: The Great Cow Harbor 10-Kilometer Run.
With so many people in town this weekend, it's important to know how to get around. Below is a list of race road closures.
- The race begins in front of Laurel Avenue School at 8 a.m.
- Laurel Avenue to Scudder Avenue
- Scudder Avenue to Woodbind Avenue
- Woodbine Avenue to Main Street
- Bayview Avenue to James Street
- James Street to Northwest
- Northwest Drive to Lewis Road
- Lewis Road to Ocean Avenue
- Ocean Avenue to Eaton's Neck Road
- Eaton's Neck Road to Waterside Avenue
- Woodbine Avenue to Rt. 25-A
- Main Street. will be closed until all runners have departed the area.'
