Legislator Beth Davidson’s Campaign Raises $500,000 in 6 Weeks

NY-17 Campaign's Momentum Accelerates with Strong Fundraising and 30+ Endorsements from Local Elected Officials & Party Leaders

NYACK, NY — Six weeks after launching her campaign for Congress in NY-17, Rockland County Legislator Beth Davidson has raised over $500,000 by the end of Q1 2025. Davidson reported more than 7,000 contributions, with an average amount under $80, indicating significant grassroots response coming from her deep community connections and years of public service to the Hudson Valley.

“Our campaign is powered by people of the Hudson Valley who are ready for an experienced leader who knows how to run and win in this community,” said Davidson. “Every dollar raised is a statement that voters are not satisfied with the record of current Representative Mike Lawler and want a member of Congress who understands the true needs and values of Hudson Valley residents, has lived its challenges, fought its fights, and remained deeply invested in its future. I am deeply grateful for this outpouring of support.”

Davidson’s campaign has already earned endorsements from over 30 local elected officials and Democratic party leaders, reinforcing her extensive ties to the community and record of delivering results for Hudson Valley families. With healthcare costs rising, economic pressures mounting, and public safety a top concern, Davidson’s personal story and track record of service to the Hudson Valley is relevant to residents across the district.
