Piermont, Nyack Ready For Memorial Day Parades, Watchfires

Piermont's annual Memorial Day parade and ceremonies are scheduled for Monday, May 29, according to the Piermont Civic Association.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and run from the firehouse to Memorial Park, the civic association wrote, with concluding services to be held at Piermont Pier.

Nyack's parade kicks off at 11 a.m. at the municipal lot and continues onto Broadway ending at Memorial Park.

Watchfires will be lit at midnight Monday on Piermont Pier, as well as in Bowline Point Park, Eugene Levy Memorial Park and the top of Clausland Mountain.
