Route 9W To Close For Road Work

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — U.S. Route 9W will close in both directions between Short Clove Road and State Route 304, nightly between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., beginning Monday, New York State Department of Transportation officials said.

The work will start Sept. 23 and go through Oct. 4, to facilitate construction activities, weather permitting.

Motorists should anticipate delays and follow the posted detour, DOT officials said.
