Route 9W Expected to Close In Piermont, South Nyack

NYACK, NY — U.S. Route 9W will be closed in both directions between Shadyside Avenue in South Nyack and Hickey Street in Piermont between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. Saturday, DOT officials said.

Maintenance activities will be taking place, weather permitting.

Anticipate delays and follow the posted detour utilizing State Route 59, State Route 303 and State Route 340.

Local residents will be able to access their properties.

Slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your drivers license.
