1 Man Killed In Raging Westchester House Fire
The unconscious victim was evacuated from the blaze by firefighters, but was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

OSSINING, NY — A house fire in the Village of Ossining has left a man dead.
Shortly after 1 p.m. on Monday, the Croton-on-Hudson FASTeam (Firefighter Assist & Search Team) was dispatched to an active house fire on Spring Street in the Village of Ossining.
The neighboring department was called to help in searching for an unaccounted for man in the house and to help fight the blaze.

Ossining and Croton firefighters located the unconscious man on the second floor of the home and took him outside to an awaiting ambulance. Despite lifesaving efforts, the subject was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The identity of the victim of the fatal fire has not yet been released by officials.
