Balmy With Showers Then Wintry Mix Possible: Hudson Valley Workweek
You'll need a sweater to go to the polls Tuesday but there's a hazardous outlook out for midweek in part of the region.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A chance of showers overnight Monday will lead into a sunny and balmy Tuesday in the region, with highs in the mid-60s.
After that, "some more wet weather in store for Wednesday on into Thursday," said Todd Snow of Hudson Valley Weather.
That could even include snow. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous outlook for Dutchess and Ulster counties, saying a brief period of light snow or mixed precipitation is possible Wednesday night into Thursday morning, mainly across the higher elevations.

Temperatures will probably also dip.
"A warm front will make an attempt to pass over the area," Bruce Furbeck of First Due Weather said on Facebook. "Highs will struggle to reach 50°F between Wednesday and Friday if the warm front doesn’t make its pass over our area."

Snowflakes are more likely upstate, AccuWeather said.
"A sneaky wave of cold air will be just enough to set the stage for a snow, sleet and freezing rain event for portions of New England and upstate New York from late Wednesday to Thursday," said Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist. "A bit of ice may make some surfaces slippery in Albany."
