Cops Track Down Duo Connected To Brazen CVS Shoplifting Spree: Police
The Queens pair was turned over to other jurisdictions, one to Yorktown PD and one to Mount Pleasant PD, for additional charges.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — Police say they have tracked down a pair connected to a brazen shoplifting spree.
Two Queens men were arrested after being accused of stealing merchandise from a local CVS Pharmacy store in June, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department.
Police say that on June 1, around 4 p.m., two men entered the CVS Pharmacy located on Maple Street. The pair then stole around $2,440 worth of merchandise from the store, according to investigators.

After being contacted about the theft by store management, detectives were able to identify both suspects through the use of license plate readers and other investigative techniques.
Lawrence Davis, 38, of Queens, was arrested on June 27, and charged with felony fourth-degree grand larceny. He was then turned over to the Yorktown Police Department to face additional charges. After being arraigned in the Town of Yorktown Justice Court, he was remanded to the Westchester County Jail on $5,000 cash bail.

Vasilios Sotiropoulos, 55, of Queens, was located by the Tuckahoe Police Department on July 11, and was arrested and charged with felony fourth-degree grand larceny. He was then turned over to the Mount Pleasant Police Department to face additional charges. After his arraignment in the Town of Mount Pleasant Justice Court, he was remanded to the Westchester County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
