Croton Cops Conclude 2013 with Several Drug Arrests

On Dec. 26 at 8:06 p.m., Croton police stopped a car going northbound on Route 9 near the Montrose exit. 

The 57-year-old man from Rockville Center, NY was found to be driving with a revoked license and narcotic pills in his possession, Det. Paul Camillieri said. 

The driver reportedly had seven hydrocodone pills and one oxycodone (Oxycontin) pill for which he did not have a prescription. 

Police charged him with:

  • criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh,
  • various vehicle and traffic violations, 
  • and aggravated unlicensed operation in the second. 

He was released on $150 bail with a court date.

On Dec. 29 at 4:35 a.m., police arrested a 21-year-old woman from Stamford, CT found to be driving under the influence of drugs and with marijuana in her possession.

Police pulled over the driver on Route 9 south near the Senasqua exit. They charged her with various vehicle and traffic violations and possession of marijuana.

She was released on $100 cash bail with a court date.
