
Anticipating more days of hot and sticky weather, Westchester County is extending hours at County owned swimming holes starting Wednesday, including Croton Point Beach.
“We can’t do anything about the heat, but by extending our swimming hours by an hour we can help residents stay just a little cooler,” said County Executive Rob Astorino in a press release.
The following locations will be open from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be no admittance after 7 p.m.:

- Saxon Woods Pool, White Plains
- The Brook at Tibbetts Brook Park, Yonkers,
- Willson’s Waves at Willson’s Woods Park, Mount Vernon
- Croton Point Beach, Croton-on-Hudson
- Glen Island Beach, New Rochelle
- Playland Beach at Playland Park, Rye
- Playland Pool at Playland Park, Rye
