Firefighters Overcame Obstacles To Put Out Overnight Greenhouse Fire
Stairs and other obstacles complicated efforts to get hoses to the scene of the blaze in northern Westchester County.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — A stubborn greenhouse fire kept firefighters busy overnight.
The Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department says that at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, they were dispatched, along with a FASTeam from the Ossining Fire Department, to a greenhouse fire on Radnor Ave.
Firefighters from five companies worked together on getting a hose line into position, which included stairs and other obstacles, and were able to knock down the blaze and check nearby structures for extension.
