In addition, there is a chance of thunderstorms Thursday through Sunday, mainly during the afternoon and early evening hours. A few severe thunderstorms may be possible west of the Hudson River Valley Thursday afternoon into the early evening.
"Thursday may be our hottest day of the summer," Bruce Furbeck of First Due Weather said on Facebook. "It will feel junglelike during Thursday before thunderstorms arrive. Periods with moderate to heavy rainfall are possible later this week and this weekend."
Plus, put away the blankets you got out last week — temperatures won't be getting that low at night.
