Hudson Valley Hot And Hazy For First Week In October
Wildfires are bringing a high haze to the East Coast. Air quality Tuesday morning was moderate in Rockland and Westchester counties
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — We will be hot before clouds move in Friday and temps drop again.
"Tuesday and Wednesday look to be the warmest in the valley with an unseasonably high of 80°," Todd Snow of Hudson Valley Weather said on Facebook. "It’ll be a nice week to be outdoors this week since it will be dry and less humid. Could be a good time to start fall preparations for the winter."

Then, while it's too early to be sure, it looks as if the weekend will start out rainy and then clear up — along with the aforementioned temperature drop.

- Tonight - Areas of fog after 10pm. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 59. Calm wind.
- Wednesday - Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 81. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon.
- Wednesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 57. Calm wind.
- Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
- Thursday Night - Increasing clouds, with a low around 61.
- Friday - A 30 percent chance of showers after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 71.
- Friday Night - Showers likely, mainly after 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 61. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
- Saturday - Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 66. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
- Saturday Night - A 50 percent chance of showers before 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 48.
- Sunday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 59.
